Today, Clear Review released the very first major extension to our award-winning performance management software. Our new module applies continuous principles to the thorny problem of employee engagement, allowing employees to take direct responsibility for their own engagement by reflecting their state of mind back at them and offering them smart nudges to prompt discussions with managers.
The launch was covered by a series of high-profile publications including OnRec, HR Technologist, Employer News and TecHR Series.
The module is based on research by renowned workplace psychologist Ian MacRae, who has since joined Clear Review as Head of Workplace Psychology. Ian’s work explores the importance of work engagement, originally identified in the early 2000s by academics at the University of Utrecht, and its influence on work outcomes. Using the thinking behind this proven psychological model, we’ve created an intuitive, low-impact series of questions that can be answered by employees in a couple of minutes or less. This simplicity allows for more frequent engagement checks, giving a detailed picture of engagement over time.
